Biomass refers to various organisms formed by photosynthesis, including all animals, plants and microorganisms. Biomass energy is the form of energy stored in biomass by solar energy in the form of chemical energy, that is, energy carried by biomass. It comes directly or indirectly from the photosynthesis of green plants and can transform into normally solid, liquid and gaseous fuels. It is inexhaustible, and not only a kind of renewable energy, but also the just only kind of renewable carbon source.
STRE International holds the mission of SSFI to develop clean energy in developing countries, focusing on the development and investment in biomass energy technology, mainly involving oversea biomass gasification power generation projects, biomass gasification CHP projects, biomass gasification energy management projects, etc.
At present, STRE International has carried out project cooperation and tracking in Suriname, Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, South Africa, Swaziland, Congo, Romania, Angola and other countries. At meanwhile, projects in South Africa, Suriname and other places have entered construction stage, and other projects are being further tracked.
